Yield: 1 Servings
Measure | Ingredient |
---|---|
2 cups | Sifted whole wheat flour |
1 teaspoon | Salt |
2 tablespoons | Wheat germ |
¾ cup | Margarine |
4 tablespoons | Ice water (4-5 tablespoons) |
Combine the flour with the salt in a medium sized bowl, then add the wheat germ. With a pastry blender, cut in the margarine. Sprinkle the ice water over the pastry and mix it with a fork. The pastry should be just moist enough to hold together.
This dough handles like any other using white flour, but it's far more nutritious.
