Fettuccine w/cream, basil, and romano sss

Yield: 4 servings

Measure Ingredient
\N \N Sherilyn Schamber
⅔ cup Fresh basil -- chpd
\N slice Bacon
1 pounds Fettuccine
\N \N Green onions -- chpd
\N \N Salt and pepper
1 cup Whipping cream
\N \N Additional cheese
1 cup Romano or parmesan --
\N \N Grated

Cook bacon, remove and crumble. Add green onions to skillet, and stir until softened, about 1 min. Add cream and simmer until beginning to thicken. Mix in 1 cup cheese and basil. Meanwhile, cook fettuccine; drain. Add sauce and stir to coat. Season with salt and pepper. Pass additional cheese when serving. Source: Bon Appetit Converted by MMCONV vers. 1.00
