Fettuccini with fresh basil & tomatoes

| 2 | Cloves garlic,chopped | |
| ½ | cup | Olive oil | 
| 1 | pounds | Cooked fettuccini | 
| 1 | White onion,chopped | |
| ¾ | cup | Fresh basil,chopped | 
| Salt and pepper to taste | ||
| 1 | cup | Grated Cheddar cheese | 
Directions
Mix tomatoes,onion,garlic,basil,olive oil,salt and black pepper;let stand at room temperature for 1 hour.Cook fettuccini;drain.Toss with sauce.Sprinkle with cheese.Serve at once.
