Fettuccini with fresh basil & tomatoes

2Cloves garlic,chopped
½cupOlive oil
1poundsCooked fettuccini
1White onion,chopped
¾cupFresh basil,chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
1cupGrated Cheddar cheese

Directions

Mix tomatoes,onion,garlic,basil,olive oil,salt and black pepper;let stand at room temperature for 1 hour.Cook fettuccini;drain.Toss with sauce.Sprinkle with cheese.Serve at once.
