Festive fruit cake cookies

Yield: 36 servings

Measure Ingredient
1 cup Raisins
1 cup Candied cherries, coarsely
\N \N Chopped
1 cup Candied pineapple, coarsely
\N \N Chopped
1 cup Coarsely chopped Brazil nuts
½ cup Butter Flavor Crisco
\N \N Shortening
¾ cup Granulated sugar
1 \N Egg
1 teaspoon Vanilla
½ teaspoon Almond extract
1¼ cup All-purpose flour
½ teaspoon Baking soda
½ teaspoon Salt

Combine fruit and nuts. Mix well. Cream shortening, sugar, egg and flavorings on medium speed of electric mixer until light and creamy.

Combine flour, baking soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture, beating on low speed until blended. Stir in fruits. Mix well. Drop dough by heaping spoonfuls onto greased baking sheet. Bake at 350F for 10-1 minutes, or until golden.
