Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
6 Eggs, separated
6 teaspoons Sugar
2 cups Thin cream
2 cups Flour
1 teaspoon Baking powder
½ teaspoon Cinnamon or cardamom
More flour
2 pounds Lard or cooking oil

Directions

Beat egg yolks with sugar until thick and yellow. Add cream, and flour mixed with baking powder and cinnamon or cardamom. Fold in the stiffly beaten egg whites and add more flour, enough to make a pliable dough. Follow directions for preceding Fattigmann. Makes about 84 fattigmann.
