Extra-rich scalloped potatoes

Measure Ingredient
4 tablespoons Sweet butter
6 mediums Idaho potatoes; washed; scrubbed, sliced thin
2 cups Gruyere cheese; grated
6 cloves Garlic; minced
\N \N S&p
1½ cup Light cream
⅔ cup Parmesan; grated

Grease a 9x13" baking pan with 1 T butter. Arrange: ⅓ the potatoes, ½ the cheese, ½ the garlic, season to taste. Repeat, ending with potatoes.

Pour cream over, sprinkle with Parmesan, dot with butter, and bake 90 min.
