Estefans' plantains stuffed with shrimp

Measure Ingredient
1 pounds Shrimp; peel, minced
1 \N Onion, mince
1 \N Green pepper, mince
½ cup Tomato sauce
½ cup Olive oil
½ teaspoon Garlic powder
¼ teaspoon Dried oregano
¼ teaspoon Cumin
2 \N Green plantains; halve,
\N \N Decoratively carved
\N \N Or
4 \N Puff-pastry shells; thaw,
\N \N Bake

In a saucepan combine shrimp, onion, pepper, tomato sauce, oil and seasonings. Bring to a simmer and cook for 15 minutes. Spoon shrimp mixture into plantains or puff-pastry shells.
