Eggs southern style

Yield: 1 Servings

Measure Ingredient
2 cups Hot boiled rice
¼ cup Grated cheese
6 eaches Eggs
½ cup Sweet milk
1 cup Medium white sauce
\N \N Salt and pepper

Line 6 well-oiled ramekins with rice. Break 1 egg into each. Season with salt and pepper. Pour 1 tablespoon milk over each egg. Place in pan of warm water. Bake in moderate oven (375 F) until eggs are firm.

Serve with white sauce in which the cheese has been melted. 6 servings. May Hill, Winona, MO.
