| 1 | 500 gram pac economy sausages; (1lb) | |
| 1 | 398 gram can chopped tomatoes; (14oz) | |
| 1 | Green pepper; chopped | |
| 2 | tablespoons | Tomato puree |
| 2 | teaspoons | English mustard |
| 2 | teaspoons | White wine vinegar |
| 1 | dash | Tabasco |
| Salt and freshly ground black pepper | ||
| Boiled rice and sprigs of parsley | ||
Directions
TO SERVE
1. Heat the oil in a saucepan, add the onion, garlic and sausages and cook for 5-6 minutes, turning occasionally.
2. Add the tomatoes, pepper, tomato puree, mustard, vinegar, tabasco and seasoning.
3. Bring to the boil and simmer for 6-7 minutes.
