Deep dish apple pie

Sugar substitute to equal 1/3 c | ||
1 | tablespoon | Cornstarch |
½ | teaspoon | Grated lemon rind |
2½ | teaspoon | Lemon juice |
¼ | teaspoon | Nutmeg |
½ | teaspoon | Cinnamon |
4 | smalls | Apples; sliced |
1 | cup | Flour; sifted |
1 | teaspoon | Salt |
¼ | cup | Reduced calorie margarine |
3 | tablespoons | Cold water |
8 | equal slices and serve. |
Directions
Combine sugar, cornstarch, lemon rind, lemon juice, nutmeg, cinnamon and apple slices. Place in 9 inch deep dish pie plate or baking dish, set aside. Combine flour and salt; but in margarine until mixture resembles cornmeal. Blend in water with fork until all dry ingredients are moistened.
