Deep dish apple pie

| 1 | tablespoon | Cornstarch |
| ½ | teaspoon | Grated lemon rind |
| 2½ | teaspoon | Lemon juice |
| ¼ | teaspoon | Nutmeg |
| ½ | teaspoon | Cinnamon |
| 4 | smalls | Apples; sliced |
| 1 | cup | Flour; sifted |
| 1 | teaspoon | Salt |
| ¼ | cup | Reduced calorie margarine |
| 3 | tablespoons | Cold water |
| 8 | equal slices and serve. | |
Directions
Combine sugar, cornstarch, lemon rind, lemon juice, nutmeg, cinnamon and apple slices. Place in 9 inch deep dish pie plate or baking dish, set aside. Combine flour and salt; but in margarine until mixture resembles cornmeal. Blend in water with fork until all dry ingredients are moistened.
