Crusty bread pizza

Yield: 4 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 Loaf (10-oz) Italian or French bread
3 tablespoons Olive oil
1 teaspoon Oregano
½ teaspoon Minced garlic
8 ounces Ground beef or sausage
¾ cup Prepared spaghetti sauce; divided
Salt and pepper
1 cup Shredded Mozzarella cheese
1 tablespoon Oarmesan cheese

Half bread loaf crosswise, then split each half lengthwise. Mix oil, oregano and garlic, brush on the cut sides of the bread.

Mix beef with ½ cup spaghetti sauce; add salt and pepper to taste, spread on bread. Place on a broiler pan and broil 6 inches from the heat for 5 minutes until beef is lightly browned. Spread each piece with 1 tablespoon remaining sauce; sprinkle with cheese. Broil 3 minutes or until cheese melts. Serve immediately.
