Corn chowder #1

Yield: 4 Servings

Measure Ingredient
½ cup Diced salt pork or bacon
3 mediums Potatoes; peeled, diced
¼ cup Minced onion
2 cups Water
1 can (20-oz) cream style corn
2 teaspoons Salt
1 dash Pepper
2 cups Light cream; scalded

Cook pork over medium heat until brown. Add remaining ingredients except cream. Cook until potatoes are tender. Stir in cream; heat but do not boil.

Serves 4.
