Cole slaw that keeps

1Head cabbage
½cupRed or green pepper; chopped
1cupChopped onion
¾cupSugar
1cupWhite vinegar
1teaspoonSugar
1teaspoonSalt
¾cupSalad oil
1teaspoonDry mustard
1teaspoonCelery seed

Directions

DRESSING

Shred or chop cabbage, onions and peppers. Sprinkle sugar on top. Combine dressing ingredient and bring to boil Toss dressing with cabbage mixture.
