Yield: 1 Loaf
Measure | Ingredient |

½ cup | Shortening |
1 cup | White sugar |
2 tablespoons | Cornstarch |
2 tablespoons | Vinegar |
½ teaspoon | Baking powder |
½ teaspoon | Baking soda |
¼ teaspoon | Salt |
1 cup | Water |
2 cups | White flour |
1 tablespoon | Cinnamon |
2 tablespoons | White sugar |
FILLING & TOPPING
Cream together shortening & sugar. Add the rest of the ingredients in order & mix till well combined. Combine sugar & cinnamon & mix. Grease & flour a loaf tin. Divide batter into thirds. Layer one third of the batter in the bottom of the loaf pan. Sprinkle with cinnamon/sugar mixture. Layer with another third of the batter & sprinkle with cinnamon/sugar. Spread out last part of the batter. Slice through the batter at various points with a knife to create the marbled effect. Sprinkle with remaining cinnamon/sugar.
Bake at 350F for 1 hour or until the loaf tests done.
