Cinnamon meringue tarts

Yield: 4 Servings

Measure Ingredient
3 \N Egg whites; at room temperature
¼ teaspoon Salt
¼ teaspoon Cream of tartar
½ teaspoon Cinnamon
¾ cup Sugar

Beat egg whites until frothy with cream of tartar and salt. Add sugar and cinnamon and beat until very stiff. Shape into tarts on a cookie sheet that has been covered with foil. Bake at 275ø for 1 hour. Turn oven off and let cool in oven for another hour. May be stored in a tin for weeks. Serve with a scoop of ice cream topped with Grand Marnier sauce or chocolate sauce. Yield: 4 to 6 servings.
