Chocolate orange glazed doughnuts

1cupNestle Toll House milk chocolate morsels; reserved from 11.5-oz package
¼cupCorn syrup
1tablespoonButter
1tablespoonHeavy cream

GLAZE

Doughnuts: Melt over hot (not boiling) water, 1 cup Nestle Toll House milk chocolate morsels; stir until smooth. Set aside; cool to room temperature.

In medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt; set aside. In large bowl, combine sugar, 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, eggs, milk and orange rind; mix well. Gradually add melted morsels and flour mixture; beat well.

On lightly floured board, roll dough to ⅔-inch thickness. Cut with 3-inch round cookie cutter. Cut out centers with ¾-inch round cookie cutter.

Reroll remaining dough and cut out. In large heavy gauge saucepan, heat 1 quart vegetable oil over medium heat to 375 degrees. Fry doughnuts, a few at a time, 1 minute on each side. Doughnuts will rise to surface when they should be turned. Remove; place on paper towels to drain.

Glaze: Combine over hot (not boiling) water, remaining 1 cup Nestle Toll House milk chocolate morsels' corn syrup, butter and heavy cream. Stir until morsels are melted.and mixture is smooth. Spoon scant 2 teaspoons Glaze over top of each cooled doughnut. Makes about 2 dozen doughnuts.
