Chocolate cherry upside down cake

Measure Ingredient
1 can Cherry pie filling; (21oz)
2¼ cup All-purpose flour
1½ cup Sugar
¾ cup Unsweetened cocoa
1½ teaspoon Baking soda
¾ teaspoon Salt
1½ cup Water
¼ cup Cooking oil
¼ cup Vinegar
1½ teaspoon Vanilla extract

Spread cherry pie filling evenly over bottom of greased 13x9x2 inch pan. In large bowl, stir flour with sugar, cocoa, soda, and salt. In another bowl, combine water, oil, vinegar, and vanilla. Add liquid to dry mixture, all at once. Stir, just to moisten. Pour batter evenly in pan over cherry filling.

Bake in preheated 350 degrees oven for 30-35 minutes. Cool 10 minutes in pan; invert onto plate and cool.
