Chocolate angel food cake

Measure Ingredient
4 cups Flour
2 cups Sugar
½ teaspoon Salt
3 tablespoons Baking soda
3 teaspoons Baking powder
2 cups Sugar
½ cup Milk
2 tablespoons Vanilla
½ cup Cocoa
2 cups Cold water
2 cups Miracle Whip
4 tablespoons Vanilla
½ cup Cocoa
½ cup Butter
\N \N Chopped nuts, optional


Sift flour, sugar, salt, baking soda, baking powder and cocoa. Add water, Miracle Whip and vanilla. Grease and flour 2 9 x13 inch pans and bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Ice while hot.

Icing: Combine ingredients. Boil exactly 2 minutes. Then beat until slightly cool. Pour over hot cake. Sprinkle with nuts, if desired.
