| Liquid: olive oil; but i've also been known to add beer or wine | ||
| Nuts: pine; cashew, walnut, sunflower or pumpkin seeds | ||
| Flavourings: garlic; chiles (Chipotles are the best IMHO) | ||

Karin van Dam <vandamk@...> Indeed! I happened to make some yesterday. You don't really need a recipe for pesto, unless you're a pesto purist... My general recipe looks like this: Lots of fresh green herbs: basil, cilantro (called coriander in the UK), or whatever you like
liquid: olive oil, but I've also been known to add beer or wine nuts: pine, cashew, walnut, sunflower or pumpkin seeds flavourings: garlic, chiles (chipotles are the best IMHO) optional cheese (I don't) Mix everything in the blender. I like to add the nuts last, so they keep some crunch.
