Chicken breasts with curried peppers

1cloveGarlic; crushed
1teaspoonCurry powder
4eachesChicken breast halves; skinned and boned
½cupDry white wine
½cupPitted prunes
½teaspoonSalt
teaspoonPepper
1mediumSweet red pepper; cut into strips
1mediumGreen pepper; cut in strips

Directions

Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat; stir in garlic and curry powder. Add chicken, and cook 5 minutes on each side. Add wine, prunes, salt, and pepper; cover and simmer over low heat 15 to 20 minutes. Remove chicken to a serving platter; keep warm.
