Chewy coconut macaroons

Yield: 18 servings

Measure Ingredient
1½ cup Coconut -- flaked
⅓ cup Sugar
⅛ teaspoon Salt
2 tablespoons Flour
2 \N Egg Whites
½ teaspoon Almond Extract

Combine coconut, sugar, salt and flour. Stir in egg whites and almond extract; mix well.

Drop by teaspoonful onto lightly greased cookie sheets. Bake at 325 F for 20 mins or until golden brown around the edges. Remove from cookie sheets at once.

Makes approximately 1½ dozen.
