2 \N | Cloves garlic -- minced |
2 cups | Chicken broth |
½ cup | Green beans |
1 teaspoon | Dried basil |
½ cup | Orzo |
2 ounces | Cheddar cheese, shredded -- extra sharp |
Heat a skillet, then add half a teaspoon oil if skillet isn't nonstick. Saute the onion and garlic about two minutes, then add broth, vegetable, and basil. Bring to a boil. Add the orzo, reduce the heat to a simmer, cover the skillet and cook about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat, stir in cheese until melted, cover the skillet again, and let sit for about 2 minutes. Serves 2.
