Cathe's beef and snow peas

| 4 | tablespoons | Cornstarch, divided |
| 1 | tablespoon | Soy sauce |
| 1 | tablespoon | Brandy |
| 1 | Garlic clove, pressed | |
| ½ | cup | Onion, chopped |
| ¼ | pounds | Snow peas |
| 1 | cup | Chicken broth, heated |
| ¼ | cup | Water |
Directions
Cut beef into chunks, sprinkle with salt and pepper. Roll in 2 T cornstarch. Add beef to soy sauce and brandy; mix well.
Saute garlic; remove. Cook meat (do not add extra batter); remove.
Stir fry onion till limp, add snow peas and heated broth. Cover and steam 15 to 20 seconds, until veggies are crisp-tender. Return meat and thicken with 2 T cornstarch, dissolved in ¼ cup cold water.
