Calico beans

Yield: 1 Servings

Measure Ingredient
2 cans Butter beans
1 can Green lima beans
1 can Light red kidney beans
1 can Baked beans
1 large Onion
1 cup Brown sugar
1½ teaspoon Dry mustard
½ cup Vinegar
½ pounds Bacon

Drain liquid from beans and mix together. Fry bacon until crisp and break up into the beans. Fry onion, chopped, in the bacon fat and add to the beans. Add to the fry pan with remaining fat. Brown sugar, mustard, and vinegar. Boil down to ⅓ about 10 minutes. Mix with beans. Bake at 300 F for 1½ hours.
