Black forest pie

Yield: 6 servings

Measure Ingredient
1 \N Baked pastry shell
4 ounces Unsweetened baking chocolate
14 ounces Sweetened CONDENSED milk
1 teaspoon Almond extract
1½ cup Whipping cream, whipped
21 ounces Can cherry pie filling
\N \N Toasted almonds (optional)

1>. In a heavy saucepan, over medium-low heat, melt chocolate with sweetened condensed milk. Remove from heat; stir in extract. Pour into large bowl; cool or chill thouroghly. Beat until smooth. Fold in whipped cream. Pour into prepared pastry shell. Chill 4 hours or until set. Serve with pie filling. Garnish with almonds if desired.

Refrigerate leftovers.
