Black bean chili with beef

Ingredients

¾cupCooked black beans
1poundsStew beef; cubed
3tablespoonsBacon grease
¼cupChopped onion
¼cupChopped green peppers
½cupDiced green chilies
3tablespoonsTomato paste
3Beef bouillon cubes or beef base, (up to 4)
¼teaspoonGround cumin
1teaspoonMinced garlic
½teaspoonSalt and pepper
1cupShredded monterey jack or cheddar cheese

Directions

Brown stew beef in bacon grease with onion and green pepper. Combine all ingredients except cheese and cook 6 to 8 hours on low. Sprinkle cheese over individual servings.
