Biscuits and gravy #3

1 pounds Jimmy dean pork sausage
3 tablespoons Shortening; or lard for the brave
3 tablespoons Flour
2 cups Milk

\N \N Pepper
\N \N I use pre-made; or canned biscuits

Date: 24 Feb 1994 13:59:03 -0500 Fry up the sausage in a large frying pan, break up into little bits. add the Shortening and stir in. now stir in the flour. add milk (about ½ quart) and cook or thin until it is a nice gravy thickness. Serve on biscuits add some salt and a bunch of pepper. A scrambled egg on the top is a nice touch.
