Bhindi ki sabji - curried okra - india

Yield: 4 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 pounds Okra; cut 1 inch lenghts
2 mediums Onion; minced
4 tablespoons Vegetable oil
¼ teaspoon Cumin seeds
¼ teaspoon Turmeric
⅓ teaspoon Ground red pepper
2 teaspoons Ground coriander
½ teaspoon Graram masala
\N \N Salt; to taste

Wash and cut okra. Heat 4 tablespoons salid oil and fry cumin seeds a second, add onions and cook for 10 minutes, until ligh brown. Add okra, turmeric, red pepper, coriander and salt. Mix. Cover and cook over medium for 10 minutes. Add garam masala and cook covered for another 10 minutes.
