Beef oven stew with meatballs

Ingredients

2tablespoonsCornstarch
2teaspoonsInstant minced onion
½teaspoonDry mustard
¼teaspoonChili powder
½teaspoonSalt
8ouncesGround beef; (up to 10)
2smallsPotatoes; peeled/quartered
2smallsCarrots; sliced
1smallOnion; quartered
8ouncesTomatoes OR stewed tomatoes; or more
1Beef bouillon cube
3tablespoonsWater

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 F. Combine egg, cornstarch, instant minced onion, dry mustard, chili powder and salt. Add ground beef and mix well. Shape into 6-8 balls. Brown in Microwave on High for 6-7 minutes. Placei n 1½ quart casserole. Add potatoes, carrots and onion. Mix together remaining ingredients and heat in Microwave. Pour over meat and vegetables. Cover and bake at 350 ° until vegetables are tender, aobut 1 hour and 15 minutes.
