Asiago cheese sticks

Measure Ingredient
2 cups Cake flour
1⅓ cup Semolina flour
2 tablespoons Baking powder
½ cup Plus 2 Tbs. unsalted butter; softened
¼ cup Plus 1 Tbs. sugar
4 larges Eggs
1 large Egg yolk
¾ cup Milk
½ cup Buttermilk
¾ cup Asiago cheese; grated

Prep: 15 min, Cook: 15 min.

Preheat oven to 350øF. Combine first 3 ingredients in a bowl. Stir to mix well and set aside. Cream butter and sugar in a mixing bowl, until smooth and light. Add eggs and egg yolk, one at a time, beating and scraping the bowl constantly until smooth. Stir in reserved dry ingredients until incorporated. Add milk and buttermilk and mix to form a smooth batter. Fold in Asiago. Pour batter into greased cornstick molds (or prepared cake pan) and bake 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from heat and let cool briefly before turning out of pans and serving.
