| 1 | Dried Ancho chili, re-hydrated | |
| 1 | Yellow onion | |
| ½ | cup | Peeled garlic clove |
| 2 | Red bell peppers, roasted and cleaned | |
| 2 | tablespoons | Olive oil |
| ½ | teaspoon | Cumin |
| ⅛ | teaspoon | Salt |
| ¼ | cup | Honey |
| 8 | ounces | Can tomato sauce |
| ¼ | cup | Ground oregano |
Directions
Method: In a deep skillet, heat olive oil and caramelize onion and garlic cloves. Add all other ingredients, let simmer for ½ hour.
Cool. Puree in blender.
