Anadama bread #5

Yield: 12 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 cup Boiling water
½ cup Corn meal
¼ cup Molasses
3 tablespoons Margerine
2 tablespoons White granulated sugar
1 \N Egg
3 cups Bread flour
½ teaspoon Salt
½ tablespoon Dry yeast (not rapid rise)

From: "Sharon H. Frye" <shfrye@...> Date: Tue, 20 Aug 1996 18:15:08 EDT Combine water, corn meal, molasses, margerine, and sugar in a bowl. Stir until margerine dissolves. Cool to room temperature.

In bread machine basket place flour and salt. Add the egg. Pour the cooled liquid on top.

Place bread basket in machine. Put yeast in yeast dispenser. Select white bread, sandwich mode. This will take four hours.
