Western beans and rice

Ingredients

1cupChopped onions
1cupSliced celery
8ouncesTomato sauce
½cupWater
½teaspoonSalt
¼teaspoonHot pepper sauce (or more, to taste)
3cupsCooked or canned pinto beans (OR any type of bean) drained
3cupsHot cooked brown rice

Directions

In large skillet, cook onions and celery in oil until tender. Stir in tomato sauce, water, seasonings, and beans. Heat thoroughly. Serve over hot rice.
