Vermicelli and zucchini

1Garlic cloved, minced
½teaspoonDried basil
1largeCan crushed tomatoes
¼cupOlive oil
1mediumOnion, chopped
2cupsWater
½poundsVermicelli, broken in pieces
Salt/pepper

Directions

saute onion and garlic in oil until lightly browned. Add tomatoes and simmer 10 minutes. Add water and bring to a boil. Add zucchini and basil and cook ten minutes. Add vermicelli and cook on low heat until tender, stirring occasionally.
