Tuna and green chilies

Ingredients

½cupCelery; minced well
2tablespoonsOnion; minced well
¼cupCanned green chilies; chopped
¼cupMayonnaise
¼teaspoonSalt
1teaspoonChili powder
12slicesBread
2cupsCheddar cheese; grated
3Eggs; beaten
1cupMilk
¼cupCream
¼teaspoonSalt
1dashTabasco

Directions

Combine first 7 ingredients. Spread on half the bread and make sandwiches.

Cut each in quarters and arrange in layers in square baking dish (I spray dish) putting cheese between layers and on top. Combine remaining ingredients, and pour over all. Bake in slow oven, 300° for 50 minutes or until set.

Tootie Notes: You don't need to add anything but a nice spinach salad and eat.
