Tijuana tidbits

Measure Ingredient
4 cups Bite-sized tortilla chips
1 can Mixed nuts
1 pack Microwave popcorn; popped
3 cups Crispic creeal
½ cup Butter
½ cup Brown sugar; packed
¼ teaspoon Cinnamon
½ cup Light Karo syrup
1 tablespoon Chili powder
⅛ teaspoon (or more) red pepper flakes

Mix butter, corn syrup, brown sugar, chili powder, cinnamon and red papper flakes in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil. Pour mixture over items in roasting pan. Bake at 250 degrees for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Afer baking, spread onto large sheet of waxed paper to cool. I usually double this recipe.
