Texas avocado soup

2 | larges | Ripe avocados |
½ | teaspoon | Salt |
1 | dash | White pepper |
2 | cups | Chicken broth |
⅓ | cup | Dry sherry |
1 | cup | Heavy cream |
Thin avocado slices for garnish |
Directions
Peel avocado and cut into chunks. Puree avocados, salt, pepper, chicken broth and sherry in blender or food processor, Stir in cream and chill well. Ladle into bowls and garnish with thin avocado slices or a dollop of sour cream.
