Sweet-and-sour shrimp

3 | tablespoons | Brown sugar |
1 | teaspoon | Ground ginger |
1 | each | Green pepper -- cut 1/4 in |

1 | can | Waterchestnuts -- sliced |
Drained | ||
1 | pounds | Shrimp -- peeled cooked |
Deveined | ||
Hot cooked rice |
Directions
In a saucepan, combine pie filling, vinegar, brown sugar and ginger; mix well. Cook over med. heat until filling is hot and bubbly. Add green pepper, water chestnut and shrimp. Cook over med. heat for 4-5 min. or until shrimp are heated through. Do not overcook. Serve over rice. Yield: 4 servings.
