Sweet and sour chicken

Ingredients

Boned.
½cupFlour with salt & pepper
cupOil
1can13 oz. pineapple tidbits
cupJuice(water + pineapple juic
cupCider vinegar
¾cupSugar
¼teaspoonGinger
1Chicken bullion cube
2tablespoonsCornstarch
1tablespoonSoy sauce
1canMandarin oranges (10 oz.)
½cupMarachino cherries-halved

Directions

SAUCE

Shake chicken in bag with flour, salt and pepper; brown well both sides in hot oil. Put in 9 x 13 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 F. for 20 Min.

FOR SAUCE: Mix all ingreds. except pineapple, oranges, and cherries.

Boil for 2 min., stirring. Pour sauce over chicken. Add pineapple, oranges, cherries. Baste and bake 20 min. more. Accompany with hot cooked rice.
