|1 pounds||Steak; cut across the grain into strips 3 inches long and 1/2 inch wide|
|½ cup||Chopped anise hyssop flowers and leaves|
|⅓ cup||Soy sauce|
|1 tablespoon||Brown sugar|
|2 tablespoons||Vegetable oil|
|2 teaspoons||Cornstarch dissolved in:|
From: arielle@... (Stephanie da Silva) Date: Sat, 22 Apr 1995 11:28:04 GMT Combine flank steak with chopped anise hyssop, soy sauce, brown sugar, and sherry. Marinate at least 2 hours.
Remove meat from marinade, reserving liquid. Heat wok, add oil and stir fry meat for 3 minutes. Add water and marinade and heat to boiling. Add cornstarch mixture and cook until thickened.
Serve over rice.
