Spinach soup #1

Ingredients

| 1 | pack | Frozen chopped spinach |
| 3 | tablespoons | Melted butter |
| 2 | tablespoons | Chopped onion |
| 1 | teaspoon | Lemon juice |
| 1½ | tablespoon | Powdered chicken stock |
| 1 | cup | Boiling water |
| 1 | cup | Milk |
| 1 | cup | Half-and-half cream |
| Pepper to taste | ||
| ¼ | teaspoon | Nutmeg |
| Parmesan cheese; optional | ||
Directions
Cook spinach; drain thoroughly. In blender, combine first 6 ingredients & blend thoroughly. Add milk, cream, pepper & nutmeg. Serve hot with cheese on top or cold. Serves 4 to 6.
