Spiced shortbread cookies

1 | cup | Margarine, softened |
⅔ | cup | Sifted powdered sugar |
½ | teaspoon | Ground nutmeg |
½ | teaspoon | Ground cinnamon |
½ | teaspoon | Ground ginger |
2 | cups | All purpose flour |
Directions
Cream butter; gradually add sugar, beating at medium speed of an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Add spices, and beat well.
Stir in flour. Dough will be stiff. Shape dough into 1 1$ inch balls, and place 2 inches apart on lightly greased cookie sheets. Lightly press cookies with a floured cookie stamp or fork to flatten to ¼ inch thickness. Bake at 325 for 15 to 18 minutes or until done. Let cool on wire racks. 2¼ dozen.
