Spiced peaches s/l

Ingredients

229 oz cans peach halves
1teaspoonCornstarch
½teaspoonGround cinnamon
½teaspoonGround cloves
¼teaspoonGrated orange rind
teaspoonGround nutmeg
teaspoonGround allspice

Directions

Drain peaches, reserving syrup. Combine syrup, cornstarch, and remaining ingredients in a small Dutch oven; bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat; add peaches, and simmer 1 minute.

Let cool 30 minutes; then chill.

Great for picnics.
