Spanish sweet onion saute

Measure Ingredient
1 large Spanish Sweet; peeled and cut into
\N \N ; slices or chunks
3 \N Assorted sweet bell peppers; (red, gold, orange
\N \N ; and/or green), cut
\N \N ; into slices or
\N \N ; chunks
1 tablespoon Olive oil
1 \N Clove garlic; crushed
2 tablespoons Fresh chopped dill; (or 1 teaspoon
\N \N ; dried)
¼ teaspoon Salt; (optional)
¼ teaspoon Pepper; (optional)

Saute crushed garlic and olive oil over medium heat. Add all the prepped peppers and onions and stir-fry or saute until the vegetables begin to get limp, but are still crunchy. (Hint: Microwave the peppers and onions on high heat in a covered container with a little water for 2-3 minutes to soften. Then add to skillet.) Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add dill (fresh or dried), toss and serve as a side dish or as a topping over hamburgers, ground steaks, regular steaks, rice or noodles. Serves 4-6 as a side dish.
