Smoked fish cakes

cupGrated raw potatoes or 2 cup cooked and mashed
½cupChopped onion
2tablespoonsButter or margarine
½teaspoonSalt
¼cupChopped parsley; (optional)
1dashPepper
1Egg; beaten
Fat for frying

Directions

Recipe By : Ted Dahlen "Smoke Seafood" Cook onion in butter til tender. Combine cooked or grated potatoes and onion. Add flaked fish, salt, pepper, parsley, and egg. Mix well. Form into cakes and roll in bread crumbs. Fry in hot fat till golden on both sides.
