Slow cooked devilled beef

Measure Ingredient
1½ pounds Stewing steak
8 ounces Onions, sliced
10 ounces Plain flour
14 ounces Tin tomatoes
1 ounce Dripping
1 \N Crushed garlic clove
2 teaspoons Made mustard
1 tablespoon Chutney
1 tablespoon Honey
\N \N Salt & pepper

cut beef into 2.5cm/1" cubes, melt dripping in pan and fry beef with onions and garlic until brown. Lift out with slotted spoon, place in cooker. Stir flour into pan, cook 1 minute. Stir in rest, bring to boil, pour over the meat, cover, cook on HIGH 30 minutes, low 6-7 hours.
