Shrimp turnovers

Measure Ingredient
2 tablespoons Butter
2 tablespoons Chopped onion
2 tablespoons Chopped leek
2 \N Minced garlic cloves
\N \N Salt & pepper
\N \N Hot sauce
2 tablespoons Chopped pecans
½ pounds Shrimp meat
\N \N PUFF PASTRY
1 cup Sour cream
1 \N Beaten egg

Melt butter & saute garlic, onion & leek until soft. Stir in seasoning, pecans & shrimp meat. Remove mixture from heat. Cut pastry into 3" rounds & place 1 Tbls. mixture in center of each round. Dot with 1 tsp. sour cream. Brush edges of pastry with eggs & fold over. Crimp edges with fork & drop turnovers into deep fryer.

Fry for 3 minutes until golden. Drain on paper towels & serve hot.
