Shearing cake (welsh)

Yield: 1 Cake

Measure Ingredient
1 pounds Flour
2 \N Eggs
1 teaspoon Baking powder
2 pints Milk
8 ounces Butter
\N \N Pinch grated nutmeg
12 ounces Sugar
\N \N Rind of 1 lemon
2 teaspoons Caraway seeds
\N 2 for a further 12 hours.

(CACEN GNEIFIO) Rub the butter into the flour and add the other dry ingredients. Mix thoroughly. Beat the eggs. Stir the eggs and milk into the flour mixture. Bake in a tin lined with greaseproof paper.
