5 ounces | Can evaporated milk |
8 ounces | Cream cheese |
½ teaspoon | Almond extract |
3 cups | Flour |
1 cup | Butter, softened |

FILLING
CRUST
Mix chocolate chips, cream cheese and evaporated milk in a saucepan.
Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture is smooth.
Remove from heat and stir in ½ tsp. almond extract. Mix well;set aside. Combine remaining ingredients. Blend well until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Press ½ crumbs (not too hard) in greased 9 x 13 pan. Spread with chocolate mixture. Sprinkle remaining ½ of crumbs over filling. Bake at 375~F for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown. Cool and cut into bars. Makes approx. 36 bars.
