4 slices | Toast (buttered and sprinkled with garlic salt) |
1 teaspoon | Grated onion |
1 teaspoon | Salt |
½ teaspoon | Pepper |
1 can | (2-1/2 cups) tomatoes |
2 tablespoons | Butter |
Butter toast with garlic salt and then cut into cubes. Add onion, salt, pepper to tomatoes. Place a layer of ½ the bread cubes in a greased 1 quart casserole, add tomatoes, top with remaining bread cubes. Pour 2 tbsp melted butter over top. Bake in 375F oven for 20-30 minutes.
